Privacy Policy

Effective: April 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website at ApnaPay.in and our mobile application ApnaPa (together, the Services). By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information we collect

  • Account and profile information (e.g. name, mobile number, email where applicable).
  • Payment-related information processed by regulated payment partners (we do not store full card details on our servers where prohibited).
  • Communications you send us (support requests, feedback).

2.2 Automatically collected

  • Device and app information (e.g. device type, OS version, app version, diagnostic logs) to operate the Services and improve stability.
  • Security and fraud-prevention signals as permitted by law.

2.3 Contacts (device permission)

If you choose to allow contact access on your device, we may access contact names and phone numbers stored on your device solely to:

  • help you select numbers for services such as mobile recharge; and
  • support chat-related features (for example, showing saved names in conversations and helping you find people who use our service), as described in the app.

Contact access is optional. You can refuse permission and still use many features; some features may not work without it. You can withdraw access anytime in your device settings:

Settings → Apps → ApnaPay → Permissions

We do not sell your contact list. We use contact information only as needed to provide the features you use, consistent with our disclosures in the app and this policy.

2.4 Location, camera, microphone, and other permissions

We request access only where a feature requires it (for example, location for delivery or maps, camera for QR or profile photos, microphone for calls). Purposes are shown in the app when permission is requested.
